  • We ensure no unauthorised person is able to gain access to your personal data. This is due to the way we identify and transmit data. 
  • We ensure no unauthorised person is able to read data transmitted between your browser and the bank. We protect your data using SSL encryption.
  • We ensure data cannot be altered during transmission between your browser and the bank. Only you can carry out account transfers and similar transactions. Our system enables financially binding transactions to be verified electronically and offers the ultimate security for such transactions.

    National Irish Bank offers the security solution Access ID. This system protects communication by SSL encryption which ensures

    • you can see that you are communicating with the bank
    • the bank can identify you before transmitting confidential information
    • unauthorised persons cannot access your communications
