You would never in a million years think of giving your confidential credit card PIN to a stranger on the street. However, that’s exactly what you’re doing when you supply personal data or passwords to anyone via e-mail or to web sites that are not encrypted.
Please remember that National Irish Bank will never send you a request by e-mail inviting you to disclose your personal passwords or PIN’s. If you receive such an email it is likely to be an attempt to steal your personal information.
