As part of its new partnership, National Irish Bank and An Post are currently introducing a range of cash services for the Bank's customers across the nationwide network of post offices. The partnership is part of a series of changes National Irish Bank is making in order to build an even better bank for you in the future.
When complete, the new partnership will mean that customers will be able to lodge cash and cheques to their National Irish Bank accounts in over 1,100 post offices around the country.
We are beginning the introduction of the new services. Here are some headline details...
Cash Lodgements
National Irish Bank customers can now lodge cash to their accounts at over 900 post offices nationwide, with services available from all post offices in the near future.
Cheque Lodgements
You can now lodge cash and cheques at approximately 200 An Post offices and National Irish Bank branches.*
*From April 23rd 2012 cash and cheque lodgments (including foreign cheques) can only be processed through An Post offices.
When the roll-out of services is complete, it will provide you with the largest financial services distribution network in the country. As a National Irish Bank customer, you’ll benefit from having access to more branches, extended opening hours (including Saturdays) and the same lodgement timelines as you currently enjoy. That’s more than customers of any other bank in Ireland get!
