Changes at your bank
National Irish Bank has announced a decision to restructure its branch network over the next 18 months. Against the backdrop of Ireland’s recession and unprecedented challenges faced by the Irish banking sector, it’s clear the banking landscape will never be the same again. Our bank has to change with it.
We are part of Danske Bank Group, Denmark’s leading financial services group. Danske is a very strong, profitable and well-capitalised European banking group that has made a long term commitment to the Irish market and is ambitious about how we develop your bank for the future.
We have decided to restructure our branch network over the next 18 months. 25 branches will close and merge into neighbouring branches. We will also reduce our staff numbers. At the same time we will be introducing some new services through our branches, as well as introducing enhancements to our internet and telephone banking services.
Our ambition is to deliver to you a new style of banking. Through our financial expertise, cutting edge technology and the strength of our European parent, we are committed to providing the very best products and services to meet your banking needs.
Based on Danske technology, our
eBanking and
Business eBanking services enable you to carry out a wide range of banking transactions 24/7. To find out more about our eBanking services see our eBanking and Business eBanking pages.
